Representative Assembly

Role of the AOTA Representative- Jane Erickson

Jane Erickson, OTR/L, was elected as the AOTA representative for Maine for the term from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2019. She has practiced in Maine as an occupational therapist since 2002 primarily in the SNF and home care settings in the Lewiston/Auburn area.  Jane was a member of the MeOTA conference committee for 10 years.  Though not a voting of the MeOTA board, Jane does attend board meetings regularly for insight into what Maine OT practitioners are thinking.

December, 2017 Update:

Dear AOTA Members of Maine:

Participate in AOTA’s Governance!

Become active participants in AOTA by telling the Representative Assembly (RA) about your ideas for solving issues facing the profession. Please give thought to the professional issues you encounter, and I will work with you to draft motions to be considered by the RA. Download the Motion Submission Form (Word doc) from the AOTA homepage under “Latest news.” The form should be submitted to motions@aota.org by January 5, 2018.

It is my pleasure to serve as your AOTA representative and I am happy to assist you in answering any questions you might have about the work of the RA and how we can work together to support the profession.

Sincerely,

Jane Erickson, OTR/L

Maine Representative

Sincerely,
