Regional Representatives

MeOTA recognizes six regions of Maine: (click on a region for Regional Representative information)

                             Aroostook        Mid-Coast

                                  Central             Southern

                                  Eastern             Western

Each region has one or two regional representatives who are responsible for attending each MeOTA executive board meeting to relate and represent the needs and concerns of OT practitioners for their area.  Regional representatives also consult with OT practitioners in their area regarding areas of continuing education in which therapists may be interested.  The regional representatives then find guest speakers and set up small conferences in their area.  Regional representatives are voting members of the MeOTA executive board, which means that they are directly involved in implementing MeOTA policy.  MeOTA members can learn more about their own regional designations and regional representatives by clicking the regions above. Members should familiarize themselves with the regional representatives so as to increase awareness of local CEU opportunities as well as how each regional representative can promote and support the needs of OT practitioners in their respective regions.
